New classes:

 using  this great ruler - getting ready to start out a new one soon- different version- think this one will go to the charity quilt show MMQG will be doing at the Galveston Customs House in July

So long Key West

Had a super fantastic family vacation with  my dad, brother, and sisters and hubbies...completed bindings on 4 quilts ( thanks to hours in the car).... Now ready to get home and get back to my statler.. Been missing my little friend ....my first customer quilt. Will be a Halloween quilt

it's been too long....here we go with another class....this time we are making Rachel Griffith's Pinwheel Sampler....check out the kits   here (hurry -limited supply available) or order your pattern from Rachel here and create your own set of fabrics.
be sure you also bring these things to class:

Sewing Machine
Needles – sharp
Pins
Cutting mat
Rotary cutter
Ruler or grid
Marking pen (preferably Frixion pen available at Pinwheels & Posies)
Opt: 1/2”ruler (Omnigrid or other brand) 
**** 3  1/2 yards of backing fabric is needed if you buy the kit

Mission Accomplished

Sew Many Blocks!
BOM - started this quilt last January 2011 and just finished in Feb 2012....not too bad!!  This quilt represents many 'firsts' in my quilting experiences......first hand applique blocks, first BOM, first custom quilt...quilted using different Statler techniques in each block.....
